The Poster

A while back I told you about doing a shoot of the cast from the musical "Grease".  Well, seems they liked what I did!  I used the pictures and created a "poster" for them.  I ordered it in a 24X36 mounted on board. It arrived today and (as is always the case) I was excited for them to see it.  My excitement was exceeded by the lady in charge, who immediately came to look at it.  She was over the top thrilled with it.  The little idea I had about building this has now spiraled. She wanted to take it and use it at many showings and now also wants copies of the file so she can get flyers made from it.

Sometimes I have a good idea!!!!!

New Items Offered!!

Today I am announcing one of the new items added for my clients in 2011.  It is completely different and shows some of my style which I have wanted to have in my products.  It is new Greg Comfort Signature Albums.  They are each singular in design and have the class, elegance and style I have wanted, but could not find a company I could get it from.  Well, after much work, they are here!

Pictured is my Crystal Albums and YES I SAID CRYSTAL.  The cover picture is enladen inside and looks amazing.  Covers also availbale are Metal, Italian Leather, and Soft Silk (where the picture is imprinted on the silk).  These albums are truly amazing, you have to see it to believe it.  I have designed the spreads inside to allow for many more of your photographs also.  Please let me know what you think.

The "Grease" Shots

Here are a couple of shots from yesterday.  They were a ton of fun to shoot because of the willingness of the cast to pretty much do anything.  It didn't hurt that the weather cooperated but we did have a little too much wind.  It dried the "well greased" hair of the guys by the time we were done. We shot in the parking lot of Memorial High School and drew a lot of attention.  There were even people taking shots of me taking shots!  If you want to see more just go to my website and click on "Private Galleries" and put in the code word Grease.

Prep work

We are busy prepping for an upcoming shoot.  The shoot was one which I "normally" don't do, but I am kinda helping out a friend.  I am really looking forward to it though.  It will be a publicity shot for an upcoming musical you may have heard of, Grease.  The characters will all be in costume and we will have a vintage car that will be there as well.  This should be a lot of  fun to shoot and hopefully I will do it justice.

The "Inaugural" address!!

Hey everyone!

 This is my blog (as you have already guessed).  I hope to keep you up to date here.  I will post some ideas and pics I am currently creating as well as some behind the scenes "adventures".  I will also give you some ideas on taking better pictures and hope it helps you make some great shots.  It can't work without your feedback so PLEASE let me hear from you.  If there is something you have a question about, others will too.  I will let you know some very cool things here soon.
